What is ⭕Duleep Trophy? Key players to watch out for in th📖e 2024 season
The 2024 edition of Duleep Trophy will run froಌm September 5 to 22.
It was named after Duleepsinhji, a legendary cricketer from I🐷ndia who played for England 💦in the 1930s.
The tournament was established in 1961 by BCCI ♋to raise the standard of domestic cricket.
Originally, the𒁏 tournament was contested by teams representing various zones of India—North, South, East, West, and Central.
The traditional zonal teams were replaced by sides such as India Red, India🐻 Blue, ಞand India Green in 2016.
The BCCI has again decided to change the format as 4 teams - India A, India B, India C and Indi𝓡a D in the tournament this time.
It will be played in a round-robin league-based format with no knockout matches this year. The team at the top of the standings after three 🥂rounds will be declared the winner.
