Over the years, IPL has witnessed players who were few o🐲f the  costliest buys but couldn’t do  justice to the price tag.

Sam Curran (Punjab Kings)

Sam Curran was bought by PBKS for a whopping INR 18.5 crore in IPL 2023 auction. But he failed to impress with both bat and ball. In 14 games💙, Curran scored 276 runs and bagged 10 wickets. 

Yuvraj Singh (Delhi Capitals)

Yuvraj Singh was bought for  INR 16 crore by Delhi Daredevils (now Delhi Capitals) ahead of the 2015 IPL. Yuvi failed to live up to the expectations, managing 248 runs and a solitary wicke🍸t in 14 matches.

Nicholas Pooran (Punjab Kings)

Nicholas Pooran was retained by Punjab Ki♒ngs for INR 4.2 crore in IPL 2021. But he couldn’t perform ꦐwell enough. Pooran only  scored 85 runs in 12 matches.

Kyle Jamieson (Royal Challengers Bangalore)

Kyle Jamieson was roped in by RCB for a whopping INR 15 Crore in IPL 2021. He played 9 matches for RCB and took only 9 wickets at an economy of 9.🦩60.

Jhye Richardson (Punjab Kings)

Jhye Richardson was bought by Punꦆjab Kings for a staggering INR 14 crore in IPL 2021. However, Richardson failed to leave his impression. He only played 3 games and picked up 3 wickets at a dreadful economy of 10.63.
