With the help of? a storming knock from Pathan, Baroda managed to achieve the target within 36 over??s.

That r??ecord fr??om Pathan is now history as Anmolpreet, representing his domestic side, Punjab has managed to hit a century in just 35 balls against Arunachal Pradesh in the opening game of Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024-25. Arunachal Pradesh were comple??tely decimated in the opening clash of the Vijay Hazare Trophy. The North-Eastern side were disappointing with the bat as they were bowled out for 164 runs in 48.4 overs. In return, Punjab managed to ??achieve the target in just 12.5 overs thanks to a scintillating knock from Anmolpreet in which he scored runs with the strike rate of a whopping 255.56. His 115 run-knock had 9 towering sixes and 12 boundaries. Punjab will face Nagaland in their next match of the prestigious tournament. Six teams  – MP Tigers, Mumbai Marines, Northern Challengers, Rajasthan Regals, Southern Spartans and UP Brij Stars – will compete in the league. The inaugural season of the Big Cricket League (BCL T20) is all set to com??mence on Thursday, Decembe?r 12, at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat, Gujarat. The 2024 edition of the tournament will see six teams battling it out in a total of 18 matches, promising exciting cricket action for fans across the country.

BCL T20 2024: Participating teams and the format of the competition
