India U19 faced Scotland U19 in a Super Six match of the ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 on January 28 at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur. Having already secured a spot in the semi-finals, India displayed their dominance with a commanding 150-run win.

India displayed exceptional form after electing to bat first at the Bayuemas Oval. The opening pair of G Kamalini and Gongadi Trisha provided a brilliant start, stitching together a formidable partnership. The match, held in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday (January 21), saw India dominate their opponents, bundling them out for just 31 runs in 14.3 overs.

Vaishnavi Sharma’s claims maiden hat-trick for India

Vaishnavi’s performance was nothing short of extraordinary, as she finished her spell with impressive figures of 5 wickets for just 5 runs in 4 overs, including a maiden over. Her hat-trick marked a historic moment, making her the first Indian bowler to achieve this feat in the Women’s U19 T20 World Cup. The young spinner’s exceptional control and skill were evident as she dismantled the Malaysian batting lineup with precision.
