In the ninth match of the Womens Asia Cup T20 2024, Pakistan Women registered a dominating win over United Arab Emirates (UAE) Women by 10 wickets.

UAE batters struggle to get going

UAE started their innings cautiously after being put in to bat by Pakistan Women. Esha Rohit and Theertha Satish opened the innings but found it difficult to score freely. Esha managed to contribute 16 runs off 26 ?balls, including two boundaries, before being dismissed. Satish, the standout performer for UAE, played a solid knock of 40 runs off 36 balls with five boundaries, anchoring the innings.

However, the rest of the batting lineup failed to build on the momentum. Rinitha Rajith (6 off 8), Kavisha Egodage (2 off 6), and Khushi Sharma (12 off 13) couldn’t make significant contributions. The UAE batters struggled against the disciplined bowling attack of Pakistan Women, managing a total of 103/8 in their 20 overs. Heena Hotchandani and Lavanya Keny contributed 9 and 5 runs respectively, bu??t it was not enough to challenge the Pakistani bowlers.
