However, the Texas skipper Du Plessis, fielding at long-on, displayed exceptional athleticism and anticipation. He sprinted towards his left, covering a considerable distance, and then launched himself into the air with a full-stretch dive. Just as it seemed the ball would fall in the no man’s land, du Plessis extended his hands, fully outstretched, and plucked the ball out of thin air.
