A wife is keeping wicket while her husband is bowling from the other end; this sounds like a fictional episode that can’t occur in reality. However, this happened in real life, during a semifinal match between PSV Hann Munden and KSV Cricket in the Kummerfeld leg of European Cricket Series.

Sharanya Sadarangani already smashed the gen??der stereotype and created a history by becoming the first woman to play in the tournament. Now, she has done something that one has to watch to b??elieve it.

At one insta?nce in the match, she kept wicket while her spouse Finn Sadarangani?? bowled. Finn, an off-spinner conceded 16 runs. Sharanya looked confident with gloves, collecting all three balls missed by the batsman.

With two catches and running-out the last batsman, the wicket-keeper finished the match on a high note. She ha??s played all six games for the team.

Meanwhile, KSV Cricket booked their ticket to finals after comfortably defeating PSM. Izatullah Dawlatzai, Mussadiq Ahmad and Sultan Sherzad Shah – all of them took three wickets each to restrict PSM for just 88 runs. For PSM, Asad Sangari played a crucial knock of 43 runs before Sharanya caught him behind the stumps.

KSV openers gave their team a fiery start, combining 36 runs in 14 balls for the first wicket. Later on, Dawlatzai played a beautiful cameo, scoring 17 off six balls to secure victory for the team. Finn Sadarangani scored seven runs in the match while his wife Sharanya didn’t get the chance to bat.

The ?upcoming third season of the Abu Dhabi T10 League will get underway from November 15 and end on November 24. The league was an absolute cracker in the past two seasons, hoping to be bigger and better this year.

In the past, former opener Virender Sehwag, ex-middle-order batsman Subramanian Badrinath and former fast bowlers – Zaheer Khan, Praveen Kumar and RP Singh were a part of the T10 League.

All-rounder Yuvraj Singh, batsman Ambati Rayudu and pacer Irfan Pathan are likely to be approached for the shortest ??version of the game? this season.

According to the latest report in The National, Chairman and Founder?? of the T10 League, Shaji Ul Mulk revealed that they were in talks with Yuvraj.

“We are very optimistic, and I think it is more about a number than willingness. Yuvraj [Singh] has a certain expectation, and we can only afford so much, let us put it that way.”

“We are trying to bridge that gap, but the intention is very clear: he definitely wants to play. The same goes for other players who are retiring. There is an ongoing conversation, so we are pretty optimistic,” Ul Mulk said.

The sta??r-studded tournament is also likely to include big names like Eoin Morgan, Shoaib Malik, Darren Sammy, Angelo Mathews, Lasith Malinga, Shane Watson, Cameron White, Mohammad Shahzad, Andre Russell, Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo.

The T10 League which was earlier played in Sharjah will now ?light up the Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium at Abu Dhabi.

Former India internationals Zahe??er Khan, RP Singh, Praveen Kumar, Subramaniam Badrinath and Reetinder Singh Sodhi are among eight star Indian cricketers who will take part in the second season of the T10 League, starting from November 23 in Sharjah.

“I am happy to announce that we have signed up eight Indian players to play in the second season of the tournament,” Shaji Ul Mulk, chairman of league, said in a statement.

“This will encourage players from all over the world to join the T10 League movement and help popularise the 10-over format cricket worldwide in the coming years.”

Earlier, Virender Sehwag was named as the T10 Cricket League brand icon along with Pakistan veteran Shahid Afridi and ?former New Zea?land skipper Brendon McCullum.

The inaugural season of the tournament was won by Kerala Kings. This edition two new teams ha??ve been added in form of K??arachians and Northern Warriors.

The second season of the T10 Cricket League is scheduled to be played from 23 November to 2 December 2018 at the Sharjah Cricket Sta??dium in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

All the matches will have 10-o??ver-a-side format with time duration of 90 minutes. Th?e tournament will be played as a round robin followed by semifinals and the final. Three new teams have joined the tournament with the exclusion of Team Sri Lanka from last season.

The first?? ever edition of the T10 Cricket League (TCL) 2017 will be played in UAE this year and will see six teams participating in the inaugural season.

This league was brought into existence by UAE’s famous business tycoon Shaji Ul Mulk, who is also the chairman of the Mulk Holdings. Salman Iqbal, owner of the ARY Groups from Pakistan, will be the President of this League.

Some of the biggest names in recent times like Virender Sehwag, Shoaib Malik, Sha?hid Afridi and Inzamam-ul-Haq (Team owner) have all been named as a part of the TCL.

The tournament is all set to commence in the third week of Decemb?er? and will last for a span of four days from December 14 to 17th.
