Bolstering the action on the field, celebrity performers like Shruti Haasan and Vaani Kapoor will take centre stage ??during the Bengaluru fixtures, starting February 21.

The BCCI’s innovative mid-innings entertainment initiative, introduced during the Vadodara-leg, has already struck a chord with fans. After scrapping the traditional opening ceremony, the league roped in artists like Ayushmann Khurrana, Madhubanti Bagchi, Dhvani Bhanushali and folk sensation Kinjal Dave to perform during match int?ervals. The twin sister duo Sukriti-Prakriti will perform on February 22, while Zahrah Khan (February 28) and Bollywood actress Vaani Kapoor (March 1) will close the leg with high-energy acts.

On the cricketing front, the Vadodara leg set a high bar with nail-biting contests. Suresh Raina a?nd his wife Priyanka Raina were blessed with a baby boy on Monday, March 23.

The CSK batsman shared the news on social media with an adorable picture of the newborn and a heartfelt caption: “The beginning of all things – wonder, hope, possibilities and a better world! We are proud to welcome our son & Gracia’s little brother �?Rio Raina. May he flows beyond boundaries, bringing peace, renewal & prosperity to everyone’s life.”

Actress Shruti Haasan, who works predominantly in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi language films, congratulated Raina on being blessed with a baby boy. “Congratulations and God bless,” Shruti wrote on Instagram.

Suresh Raina has cumulated 5,615 runs in 226 ODIs for the Indian team at an average of 35.31. Batting in the middle ord??er for most of his career, a total of five hundreds and 36 fifties is a h??uge statement of his ability.
