His first delivery to Naman Ojha was a beautifully executed outswinger, which deviated late, beating Ojha’s bat and going ??straight to the wicketkeeper. The second ball was almost a replica, swinging away just enough to once again elude the batter, leaving Ojha without ?a chance to make contact.

The third ball, a tighter delivery, forced Ojha to cautiously defend towards point, but there was no opportunity to steal a run. Sreesanth maintained pressure with the fourth ball, again forcing a defensive push to the same?? direction, keeping Ojha pinned. In response to this contentious situation, Legends League Cricket’s Code of Conduct and Ethics Committee head, Syed Kirmani, has initiated an internal investigation. Kirmani aims to address both on-field and off-field misconduct, including social media activities that may have contravened the league’s established rules.

“Legends League Cricket strives to uphold the spirit of cricket and sportsmanship and will conduct an internal investigation on the violation of the code of conduct. Any misconduct that has occurred both on and off the field including on social media platforms will be dealt with strictly,” Kirmani added.

“The code of conduct has clearly stated that necessary action will be taken against players that bring disrepute to the league, the spirit of the game and the teams that they are representing. We make our stand very clear and continue to work towards sharing the game with millions of cricketing lovers across the nation and world,” the 73-year-old concluded.

After the match, Sreesanth took to his official Instagram account to shed light on the incident and make serious allegations against Gambhir. According to Sreesanth, Gambhir had verbally mocked him d?u??ring the game, using disrespectful language and triggering the exchange.
