Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan recently lashed out at a Twitter user after the latter compared him with Pakistan terrorist Hafiz Saeed. The 35-year-old took to his social media handle and shared a screenshot of the Twitter user’s comment on one of the news articles written on him.

Bashing the user, the left-hander tweeted: “This is the mentality of certain people. Where have we reached? #shame #disgusted.”

In the meantime, Bollywood actress Richa Chaddha reckoned that the tweet came from a ‘fake account’. She said that the tweet was made for the motive of earning money.

“It’s fake account. Bot. Not a real person,” her tweet read.

“Yes. Someone is making two rupees per abusive tweet. In this economy, they are earning like this,” Richa further wrote.

Jwala Gutta, the retired Indian badminton player, also asked Irfan not to pay heed to such comments. She wrote, “Pls don’t pay attention to these losers… moreover it could be fake account!!”

While it is understood that it was a troll account from which the comment was made, the insensitivity of people making such remarks is genuinely baffling.

Bollywood actress Richa Chadha has delivered a strong message in support for the Indian women’s cricket team which will play against Pakistan at the ICC Women’s World Cup 2017 on Sunday.

While it almost looked like a holiday when the Men In Blue played the Champions Trophy final against Pakistan, Richa urged her fans to give the same love and support to the women’s team.

Taking to social media, Richa shared a video and captioned it, “Come on! Show your support for team India ????!!! Sorry my home is by the sea, extremely windy… #iwokeuplikethis #womensworldcup come on! @bcciwomen.”

“Two Sundays ago, India played against Pakistan for the Champions trophy and we lost. The roads were empty, shops were shut, it looked like a national holiday but it was just the finals. I want to ask people something â€?do you even know the Women’s World Cup is happening right now? And Indian women’s team will be playing tomorrow (Sunday),” said Richa.

“We should support our team irrespective of the gender. So, I am here trying to support the Indian women’s cricket team and I hope you will show as much enthusiasm as you did for the men’s team. Go India,” added the actress, who will soon be seen on the web series “Inside Edge”, based on cricket and showbiz.
