This event held special significance as it followed RCB (Women) clinching the Women’s Premier League (WPL) championship, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. Among the highlights, RCB unveiled their new team name and showcased their brand-new jersey for the upcoming season. Renowned Norwegian DJ and music producer Alan Walker, experiencing his first visit to India, was overwhelmed by the warm recep??tion he received.

During the event, Walker was presented with a special gift from RCB’s esteemed trio – Virat Kohli, Smriti Mandhana and Faf du Plessis. According to the account, Walker has a Secret Walker Community for his fans, whe??re each member is assigned a number upon joining. Since Alan hims?elf was the first member, he received the number 0, with subsequent members assigned numbers in order of joining.

Vinay Kumar inducted into hall of fame

In addition to the jersey unveiling, the franchise announced a significant change in their name, now known as Royal Challengers Bengaluru. They also honored former cricketer Vinay Kumar by inducting him into the Hall of Fame, joining other esteemed RCB players such as AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle. To commemorate the historic victory of Mandhana and her team against Delhi Capitals in the WPL final, the men’s team paid tribute with a guard of honor, acknowledging their remarkable achievement.

On Sunday (March 26), the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are hosting an event at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru called ‘RCB Unbox’. The event is set to be a huge success, especially since former stars AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle will be attending along with former RCB skipper Virat Kohli. The stadium has undergone renovations, including improvements to ??the acoustics, lighting and seating arrangements.

The franchise has made sure that no stone is left unturned to make the event a success. International singer and pop star Jason Derulo, Sonu Nigam, Tulsi Kumar and Aditi Singh Sharma are some of the artists who will perform at the event. Additionally, the event marks the start of the practice session for the entire team, which will give fans the opportunity to see their favourite pl??ayers up close.

De Villiers and Gayle will be officially inducted into the RCB ‘Hall of Fame’ and the franchise will retire their respective jersey numbers ’17’ and ‘333’ to honour the two legends. It is also possible that some members of the RCB Women’s team of the Women’s Premier League (WPL) may attend the event. Furthermore, the franchise will unveil their kit for the forthcoming edition.

RCB will play their first game on next Sunday (April 2) at home against Mumbai Indians (MI), who have won the IPL five times. The franchise will play six of their seven home games in Apr?il and will hope to make the most of their home advantage before heading to the away fixtures. The reunion of the trio and the event will undoubtedly excite fans and electrify the atmosphere at the stadium.
