The d??efending champions produced a clinical performance to beat Delhi Capitals by six wickets at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Friday.

CSK first dished out a disciplined bowling effort to restrict DC to 147 for nine and then chased d??own the target with ease, reaching to 151 for four in 19 overs.

‘Thala’ Dhoni and ‘Chinna Thala’ Suresh Raina celebrated the win with their daughters, Ziva and Gracia.

The Super Kings will take ?on Mumbai ??Indians in the final on Sunday, May 12.

Indian cricketer Suresh Raina, married his lady love, Priyanka Chaudhary, on April 3, 2015. Raina and Priyanka were childhood friends, and a private wedding in Delhi tied these buddies tog??ether in the sacred knot.

How they met?

Althou??gh the couple knew each other since childhood, they were hardly in touch after Priyanka’s family shifted base to Punjab. And, the cricketer talked about the same in an interview with Times of India, and said:

“I have known Priyanka for long, but in the middle, I didn’t have time to be in touch with her. I remember meeting her at the airport for five minutes in 2008. She was flying back to Holland (where she currently works) and I was going to Bangalore for an IPL game, and we met at the Delhi airport for just five minutes. Usse pehle main usse bachpan mein mila tha (before that we met during our childhood).”

“Priyanka’s father was my sports teacher in Ghaziabad and my mom was very close to her mother. I’ll call it more of an arranged marriage because our families have known each other for a long time,” he said.

Raina’s mother played the role of a match-maker

The marriage was fixed while Raina was away in Australia for four months, for the ICC World Cup. His mother arranged the whole thing wit??h Priyanka’s family. In the same interview, Raina talked about how this marriage was arra??nged by their parents.

“I was in Australia for the last five months. Mamma ne sab fix kiya hai. I didn’t know. Mom called me in Australia and told me that my marriage has been fixed with one of my childhood friends. Maine kaha kaun hai. Then I spoke to Priyanka on the phone.”

This all we can say depends upon a destiny that ho??w far people live if they have to come toge??ther God creates a way to meet them for a life long journey.

Here Raina’s parents became a well-wisher that they bought up these two childhood friends together. We have heard it rare that the childhood friends got married but in Raina’s case, it’s something different. Like others, they have also even not imagine that in life they both meet again and tie a knot.

But now they both are blessed with a baby girl Gracia and they are living happily. It’s a perfect fairy tale story.
