The severe weather conditions paralyzed operations at Barbados Airport, rendering it impossible for flights, including the team’s, to either land or take off. As a result, the meeting had to be rescheduled to a later date, prolonging the anticipation of their celebratory return.

Team India’s departure and continued celebrations

Following their heartfelt meeting and breakfast with PM at his residence, the Men in Blue proceeded to Indira Gandhi International Airport. From there, they embarked on a flight to Mumbai, marking the next phase of their celebratory journey. To commemorate their historic T20 World Cup triumph, the Men in Blue will partake in an Open Bus Victory Parade fro??m Marine Drive to Wankhede Stadium ??in Mumbai.
