The Bangladeshi side won the final match of the series in an emphatic manner by 80 runs putting an end to the run-chase in just 16.4 overs. The entire West Indies batting line-up collapsed like a pack of cards in front of a solid bowling display from Rishad Hossain, who clinched 3 wickets for his side. It was a day that went well for the Bangladeshi team from the beginning. Litton Das won the toss and elected to bat first.  A disappointing performance from the West Indies 

The West Indies repeated similar mistakes in the final match of the series. The bowlers proved to be too costly for the team, particularly Alzarri Joseph who gave away 59 runs in his 4 overs. The complacency from the bowling side passed on to the batters as soon as Windies came out to chase the total. Soft dismissals were the story of the night for the Caribbean batting effort. It started with Johnson Charles who gave away his wicket due to a miscommunication with Rovman Powell on the striker’s end and a direct hit from Hossain.
