Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan recently lashed out at a Twitter user after the latter compared him with Pakistan terrorist Hafiz Saeed. The 35-year-old took to his social media handle and shared a screenshot of the Twitter user’s comment on one of the news articles written on him.

Bashing the user, the left-hander tweeted: “This is the mentality of certain people. Where have we reached? #shame #disgusted.”

In the meantime, Bollywood actress Richa Chaddha reckoned that the tweet came from a ‘fake account’. She said that the tweet was made for the motive of earning money.

“It’s fake account. Bot. Not a real person,” her tweet read.

“Yes. Someone is making two rupees per abusive tweet. In this economy, they are earning like this,” Richa further wrote.

Jwala Gutta, the retired Indian badminton player, also asked Irfan not to pay heed to such comments. She wrote, “Pls don’t pay attention to these losers… moreover it could be fake account!!”

?While it is understood that it was a troll account fr??om which the comment was made, the insensitivity of people making such remarks is genuinely baffling.

Not true that Greg Chappell spoiled my career: Irfan Pathan

In the news report, Pathan had spoken about the unfair criticism that Chappell gets for ‘ruining his career’. The former India all-rounder had explained how it wasn’t even the Australian coach that made him bat at No. 3 during an ODI against Sri Lanka in 2005 – a move that many believe was the reason behind Irfan’s decline at the international level.

In a shocking move, former Indian Test skipper Anil Kumble on Tuesday announced his decision to step do?wn as the head coach of the Indian team.

Commenting on the spat between Kumble and Virat Kohli – which eventually led to Kumble’s resignation – five-time Olympian and Champion shooter Abhinav Bindra had a piece of advice for Indian captain.

“My biggest teacher was coach Uwe.I hated him! But stuck with him for 20 years. He always told me things I did not want to hear.#justsaying,” the shooter wrote.

Famous Badminton player Jwala Gutta too replied to the tweet, saying: “Sometimes that’s the important part of training I remember my sir doing the same…he still does it!!!”

It was a subtle message to Kohli and Team India, as Kumble was often accused of being a stri?ct headmaster who had a lot of rules.

According to these stars players even if the player dislikes the coach’s style of teaching, he should accept it and stick to the same. After all, the coach is always more experienced and has a better way of doing things.
