England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) have announced their men’s squad for the upcoming tour of the West Indies, set to begin on October 31.

The squad features the return of captain Jos Buttler, who missed the recent series against Australia due to a calf injury. Alongside him, three uncapped players – Jafer Chohan, John Turner and Dan Mousley – have been included, marking a significant opportunity for these young talents to showcase their skills on the international stage.

Buttler’s return is a major boost for England as they prepare for a challenging series that includes three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and five T20 Internationals. “An initial 14-player squad has been selected, which will be supplemented with two players from the Test squad in Pakistan,” the ECB said in their official statement. “A decision on the two players to join the white-ball squad in the Caribbean is to be made after selection for the third Test in Rawalpindi, which begins on Thursday 24 October.”

The coaching staff will be keenly observing how well the new players integrate into the squ??ad dyn?amics and perform under pressure.
