After restricting Bangladesh to a modest 103/8, West Indies chased the target in just 12.5 overs, losing only two wickets along the way. Karishma Ramharack’s brilliant spell, claiming 4 wickets for 17 runs, and captain Hayley Matthews�?fiery knock of 34 off 22 balls, ensured West Indies’ comfortable win with 43 balls to spare.

Bangladesh struggles to build momentum

Bangladesh Women had a tough time building any lasting partnerships, as they faced a disciplined bowling attack from West Indies. Dilara Akter showed some intent at the top of the order, scoring 19 off 18 balls, but it wasn’t enough to set a solid foundation. Skipper Nigar Sultana, who contributed a patient 39 off 44 balls, was the only batter to show some resistance, but she received little support from the middle order. A flurry of wickets in the middle overs, including a double strike by Afy Fletcher and Ramharack’s devastating 4-wicket haul, left Bangladesh reeling. Karishma Ramharack shines with the ball

The standout performer for West Indies in the bowling department was Ramharack. Her spell of 4 for 17 in 4 overs crippled the Bangladesh batting lineup.
