The Women’s Premier League (WPL) brought together cricket ??players from all over the world to partake in the joyous celebr?ation of Holi.
Holi, also known as the ‘Festival of Colors,’ is a significant and vibrant festival in India. It is celebrated to signify the triumph of good over evil and to welcome the arrival of spring. Thanks to WPL, this festival provided an excellent opportunity for players to exchange their cultures and celebrate together.
Among the Indian and foreign cricket stars who participated in the Holi celebration was Australian superstar Ellyse Perry.
Perry is a part of the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) squad, which is currently competing in WPL 2023. She took to her official Twitter handle to share a picture from the celebration held at the RCB team hotel in Mumbai. Perry’s teammates Megan Schutt and Sophie Devine also featured in the picture.
“Happy Holi to everyone in India! @RCBTweets,” she captioned her post.

— Ellyse Perry (@EllysePerry) March 7, 2023
The Aussie all??-rounder shared another post on Instagram, in which she showed off her hair dyed in pink colour, caused by the colourful powder used during the Holi celebration. She jokingly asked if the colour would stay permanent in her hair.
“Just wondering if this is now a permanent thing? I’ve washed my hair twice,” Perry wrote in the caption of her I?nstagram post.
Despite facin??g defeats in the first two matches of their WPL 2023 campaign, Perry and other RCB players enjoyed the Holi festivities, and the experience helped them ??bond and build team spirit.
Despite the losses, the Smriti Mandhana-led RCB remains optimistic and is determined to bounce back in the upcoming matches. Overall, the celebration of Holi was an excellent opportunity for players to e?xperience Indian culture, exchange ideas and build lasting bonds with their teammates and coaching staff.

Despite the festivities, several members of the Indian men’s team will remain focused on their work as they have their final training session at the Narendra Modi Stadium before the fourth and final Test against Australia.
Currently leading 2-1 in the four-Test series, India must win the Ahmedabad Test to secure a spot in the World Test Championship final, scheduled to take place in London in June. Although Australia bounced back from a 0-2 scoreline to defeat India in Indore by nine wickets, they have already qualified for the summit clash. Stand-in captain Steve Smith is leading the Australian team.

]]>India celebrated Holi on Friday and the cricketers, their families also celebrated the colourful festival with equal vigour. Among them was MS Dhoni’s daughter Ziva, whose picture went viral on social media.
The little one was ?spotted in Dehradun where she was presumably enjoying the festival with her loved on??es.
We have seen Ziva feature in most of her mother’s post on Instagram. But now the little one has her own account, zivasinghdhoni006 (Sakshi keeps tagging it along with MS Dhoni’s handle). It was on Ziva’s this account where we came across the Holi picture of the little princes. Dressed in black pants, light-coloured floral pullover, Ziva is seen sitting comfortably outdoors with flower beds lined behind. Her face is smeared with all the bright colours as the girl gives out the most radiant smile, almost saying out the caption of the pic ‘Happy Holi’!
Cuteness Overloaded – Different Moods of Ziva

Little Ziva with daddy MS Dhoni
If you’re wondering about Ziva being so photogenic, you can be rest assured as it’s in her genes. Take a good look at her beautiful mother (Mahi is also quite natural in front of the camera, but Sakshi is hands-down the winner).
Sakshi Singh Rawat who marrie?d MS Dhoni in 2010 is effortlessly stylish. Her Instagram is a solid proof of that. She is no actress or model but the way Sakshi carries ??herself is splendid.
//www.instagram.com/p/BZtCj6DlvS-/
For instance, let’s have a look at the Holi picture of Sakshi taken two years ago, the lady looks super-hot yet classy. No wonder Ziva has the perfect heart-melting smile on the camera, every single time.
