An unusual incident occurred during the fourth T20I between India and South Africa at the Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg, when a six struck by Sanju Samson unin??tentionally injure?d a female fan in the stands.

Notably, India opted to bat first in the series finale, and their openers, Samson and Abhishek Sharma, made a blazing start. The pair added 73 runs during the powerplay, setting a strong foundation. Abhishek contributed 36 off 18 balls b?efore being caught behind off Lutho Sipamla in the final delivery of the sixth over.

Samson, however, kept the momentum alive, bringing?? up?? his fifty in style with a maximum on the first ball of the 10th over. The six that followed, though intended to entertain, led to the unfortunate incident in the crowd.

Notably, the Indian wicketkeeper-batter launched a massive hit over midwicket in the 10th over off Tristan Stubbs, which unfortunately landed directly on the spectator’s face. The injured fan was seen in significant discomfort and was quickly? provided with an ice pack to manage the swellin??g. Although visibly upset, she received prompt assistance while the game continued.

On Tuesday, a crazy female fan blocked the path of MS Dhoni‘s Hummer outside the Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi, hoping to click a selfie with the former skipper or at least get his autograph.

This particular fan was on board in the same In?diGo flight that Dhoni took to reach Ranchi from Kolkata after playing a Vijay Hazare Trophy match for Jharkhand.

She then tailed Dhoni from the plane to his Hummer and stood blocking the vehicle for at least five minutes, requesting for a photograph, before airport security esco??rted her away.

Meanwhile, her handbag fell on the g?round and was crushed under the Hummer. Well, Dhoni craned his neck outside the car, in ??order to make sure everything was ok.

Former Indian cricket Team’s skipper Rahul Dravid is sure?ly an inspiration for many young players and during his playing days, he had a huge fan following, especially among the girls. Many girls used ?to like him because of his good behaviour and innocent looks.

Recently, Dravid recounted a memory of his past in a candid chat with stand up cricket comedian Vikram Sathaye, for his show ‘What the Duck’. On the show, Dravi?d shared an interesting story about one of his female fan who was not willing to leave his house.

When Sathaye asked, “Every mother wanted you to be her son-in-law. Somewhere, you gave an impression that you would make a great husband. And your colleagues tell me that you have a lot of female following. Any interesting stories you faced?”

He started, “I had come back from a long tour and I had gone off to sleep after reaching home in the morning and I was sleeping through the afternoon. I got up in the evening and my mom said, ‘there is a fan waiting for you.’ She has come all the way from Hyderabad and been waiting there for about an hour and my parents had given her tea and coffee. She was just sitting there waiting for me. I went there and gave her the usual autograph, photograph and said, Hello, How are you? Oh, you have come from Hyderabad. It’s great.”

But the situation turned into a delicate one as she refused to leave Dravid’s home and said she came from Hyderabad to stay at his home. He was shocked to hear that and then asked “How is that possible? Where are your parents?”

Luckily Dravid got his parents’ help who sorted out the situation.

The story was too shocking and had a tense moment too. But moving towards the funnier part Dravid said, “I think it was a little bit of wake-up call for my parents as well. It was one of those things, which was not ideal kind of situation. But, it all ended up well. So, it was ok.”
