A fine glimpse of batting display solidifying their quest to claim the Ashes came at the hands of Australia’s top-order batter Phoebe Litchfield as she hit a rather unconventional six to add to th??e already exciting disp?lay of batting from the Aussies.

Litchfield arrived on to the crease during the 4th over of the match when debutant Georgia Voll was sent back to the pavilion after a valiant display of 21 runs off 11 balls. King strikes again: Nat Sciver-Brunt falls to a stunning catch 

King was not finished with just one wicket. In the 23rd over, she struck again, this time removing the well-set Nat Sciver-Brunt. Sciver-Brunt, who had been anchoring England’s innings with a valuable knock of 35 runs (57 balls, including 5 fours), tried to glance a fuller delivery from King onto her leg stump. However, the ball spun sharply away, and Sciver-Brunt’s leading edge lobbed up into the air, where Phoebe Litchfield was waiting to take the catch in the covers.
