Rashid Khan played a captain’s knock for Kabul Zwanan against Balkh Legends during the ongoing Afghanistan Premier League (APL) 2018.

Rashid (unbeaten 56 of??f 27) along with Laurie Evans (64 of??f 47) rescued their team from 76/5 to 176/6. The pair added 96 for the 6th wicket off 50 deliveries including 67 runs that came across 17-19 overs.

During his blistering knock, Rashid also smashed Ravi Bopara for 28 runs in an over. Bopara conceded 25 runs in his first 3 overs before Kabul’s skipper took an attack over him.

This was the first time Bopara gave more than 50 runs with the ball in his T20 career.
In the 300 T20 matches before this ??game, the most Bopara ever conceded in a single game was 46 against Surrey in the 2018 T20 Blast.

However, it was Ryan ten Doeschate’s unbeaten 46-ball 78 which took Balkh home with seven deliveries to spare.

Afghanistan Premier League (APL) is set to start from Friday (October 5). The inaugural edition of the T20 tournament will be played in the Uni?ted Arab Emirates.

Erin, who is the girlfriend of the Aus?tralian all-rounder Ben Cutting, requested him to take care of her boyfriend dur??ing the T20 tournament.

Cutting will be playing for the Nangarhar Leopards franchise. He has also been a p?art of the Mum?bai Indians outfit in IPL 2018.
