Former England cricketer Sarah Taylor, on Wednesday (Februa??ry 22), revealed that she and her partn??er Diana are expecting their first child.

The veteran stumper broke out the good news on social media, expecting warm congratulatory replies from her fans and followers. She did get some. But most of the Twitter users passed homophobic comments regarding her partner’s pregnancy.

In the announcement tweet, Sarah had written: “Being a mother has always been my partner’s dream. The journey hasn’t been an easy one but Diana has never given up. I know she will be the best mum and I’m so happy to be a part of it x 19 weeks to go and life will be very different.”

Claiming that she is a ‘lesbian’ and has been for a very long time, Sarah asked trolls to educate themselves before passing a judgement.

“Yes I am a lesbian, and have been for a very long time. No it’s not a choice. I am in love and happy, that’s what matters. Every family is different…how it operates and how it looks. Educate yourself before passing judgement. The baby will be loved and supported…

“We are all brought up differently with differing beliefs, I do not pass judgment on other’s. I will however pass judgment on hate, mocking and abuse. You do not belong here. Love who you want as long as you’re happy. Thanks to all who sent love and support. Love is love,” she added.

In 2019, Sarah a?nnounced her retirement from all forms of cricket to focus on her mental health.

Sarah Taylor, widely regarded as one of the best wicket-keepers, last week became the first female coach in men’s professional franchise. She was named assistant coach of Team Abu Dhabi f?or the Abu Dhabi T10 League, begin??ning November 19.

Until last year it was just West Indies swashbuckling opening batter Chris Gayle who was the main attraction of Team Abu Dhabi. However, this season, it’s Sarah who could make a major difference.

Before being signed by Team Abu Dhabi, Sarah has coached Sussex in English County and it’s going to be a huge milestone when she will share her inputs with some renowned male player in Abu Dhabi.

“I think it’s an interesting one [having a woman coach in men’s franchise cricket]. There are very good women coaches out there. I don’t think if they have aspirations to go into men’s cricket, I have no idea,” Sarah was quoted as saying to CricketNext.

“I don’t know whether me being with Sussex is kind of people have looked to – ‘Okay! She just wants to be in men’s game’ – I have no idea. But I agree, there are a lot of female coaches who would have been very good for the men’s game. But as I said, we have got Julie (Price), myself and there will be plenty more,” she added.

The former England international is also excited to meet ‘funny guy’ Gayle for the first time.

“I mean look, I have always seen him in the nets wearing a helmet. I have been pretty much working with wicketkeepers and now I will probably sit back and enjoy watching Chris. It will be a kind of a moment where I’ll be in a dugout and do look around and I’ll look at names who are in there. It is a serious team. I will just embrace it. I am just excited to see what’s going to happen. I am sure, Chris will be a very, very funny guy. I haven’t met him before, so It’ll be nice to see him,” Sarah added further.

Former England cricketer Sarah Taylor has become the first woman coach in men’s professional franchise cricket after she was appointed as Team Abu Dhabi’s assistant coach for the upcoming Abu Dhabi T10 competition, which gets underway on November 19.

Widely regarded as one of the best wicket-keepers in the history of the game, Taylor became the first female specialist coach at a men’s county side with Sussex in the United Kingdom. She now builds on that by again treading new ground with Team Abu Dhabi, and the 32-year-old hopes that her involvement in the Abu Dhabi T10 League will inspire women and ??girls across the world.

“Coming into this franchise world, you get players and coaches coming in from all around the world where it may not necessarily be the norm but I’d love to think that some young girls or some women watching can see me in the coaching team and realise that’s an opportunity and they can push for it, saying ‘If she can do it, why can’t I’,” said Taylor in an official release.

“I do hope that it becomes a little more normal and I may be the first but I won’t be the last. Coaching is my passion and it’s kind of going down the men’s route, which is really exciting. I’ve never had issues in male environments and I enjoy the challenge. You always want to prove that you’re good enough, but that’s the same for any coach going into a new environment,” she added.

While announcing their coaching structure, Team Abu Dhabi also signed England international Liam Lawrence as their Icon Player.

Team Abu Dhabi squad: Chris Benjamin, D?anny Briggs, Ahmed Daniyal, Fidel Edwa?rds, Muhammad Farazuddin, Chris Gayle, Colin Ingram, Marchant de Lange, Liam Livingstone, Obed Mccoy, Rohan Mustafa, Naveen-ul-Haq, Phil Salt, Paul Stirling.

betvisa888 casinoSarah Taylor – Cricket Times - betvisa888 bet //betvisa68.com/2021/05/former-england-cricketer-sarah-taylor-opens-up-about-her-early-retirement-from-international-cricket/ Tue, 11 May 2021 05:56:28 +0000 //betvisa68.com/?p=55331

Former England cricketer Sarah Taylor revealed her mental health issues on Monday.

Taylor took a year off the field in 2016, only to retire three years later at the age of 30. The London-born is regarded as one of the best wicket-keepers the game has ever seen and made history by becoming the first woman to be appointed as the wicket keeping Coach of the Senior Men’s County- Sussex – last month.

Talking about her drift into the abys?s in a podcast with Headstrong, Taylor shared that she had started feeling lonely post her establishment as a cricketer since she had stopped interacting much with her compatriots.

“I felt utterly lonely the last three years of my career. It probably began with all of that success a few years before because I then felt different again. I felt a little bit further away from my mates than I should have and I believe that was probably my own doing,” the two-time World Cup winner divulged.

Reminiscing the dark void, Taylor further added that she would skip training in the last three years of her career and avoid people only to be left alone in he??????????????????????????r room.

“In my last three years I was incredibly lonely. [I would] go to training, come back to my room, stay there all night, room service. Again, [I] avoided friendships, avoided people, avoided media, avoided expectation, tried to avoid cricket at times, avoided training,” Taylor admitted.

The 31-y?ear-old also reasoned that she missed her family, and sometimes the workload can take the better of any ind??ividual.

“I say three years, it was probably four or five; I did take a break, didn’t I? I was incredibly lonely. Cricket can sometimes, unfortunately, lend itself to that. It’s quite apparent in the modern game given how long we are away. We don’t see our families. We’re obviously not away as long as the men are but we don’t see our families within that unless they make the decision to come on over,” Taylor concluded.
