The 39-year-old batting all-rounder, known for his unorthodox style and crucial contributions to the Indian team, made the announcement on Monday aft?ernoon (June 3), bringing an end to an illustrious career that spanned over a decade.

“Thank you all For your love and support throughout my Career from 1500 hrs. Consider me as retired from all forms of cricket,” tweeted Jadhav.

Jadhav made his debut for India in 2014 in an ODI against Sri Lanka at Ranchi. He quickly became known for his unique batting technique and his ability to perform under pressure. In ??addition to his batting prowess, Jadhav was a handy part-time bowler, often breaking crucial partnersh??ips with his deceptive off-spin. His versatility and dedication made him a valuable asset for the Indian team in limited-overs formats.

Jadhav scored more than 6000 runs in FC cricket

Jadhav’s domestic career was equally impressive. Representing Maharashtra in the Ranji Trophy, he consistently delivered stellar p?erformances, amassing 6,100 runs in first-class cricket. His contributions to his state ?team were instrumental in many of their successes over the years.

He also played 94 matches in the IPL. His last IPL game was for Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) against Mumbai Indians (MI) on May 9, 2023 at the Wankhede Stad?ium, where he scored 12 runs off 10 balls.

As Jadhav steps away from professional cricket, he leaves behind a legacy of resi??lience, innovation, and excellence. His journey from the streets of Pune to the intern??ational cricket arena serves as an inspiration to many aspiring cricketers.

Kedar Jadhav, a seasoned Indian all-rounder with a reputation for playing crucial innings in the middle order and delivering useful off-spin, has been roped in by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to replace David Willey.

Willey has been ruled out ?of the remainder of IPL 2023 due to an injury.

“Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Monday named Kedar Jadhav as a replacement for David Willey for the remainder of the TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. Willey, the England all-rounder, played four matches for RCB this season and scalped three wickets. Jadhav, who made his IPL debut in 2010, has so far played 93 IPL games and has 1196 runs against his name. The right-handed batter, who has previously represented RCB in 17 matches, was brought on board for INR 1 Crore,” IPL’s statement read.

People say matche?s are made in heaven. There is no better partner than someone who can understand your routine, schedule, dedication and passion. Some of the cricketers are blessed with ?wives who themselves are or have been athletes.

Here are 8 cricketers who had the good fate of marrying an athlete:

Dinesh Karthik – Dipika Pallikal

After a troubled marriage with Nikita Vanjara, Dinesh Karthik decided to tie the knot with Dipika Pallikal in August 2015.

Pallikal is an Indian professional squash player who was the first of her nation to break in the top 10 of Professional Squash Association (PSA) Women’s Ranking.

Along with Joshna Chinappa, she bagged India’s first gold medal in squash at Commonwealth Games during the 2014 edition.

Partnering with Chinappa for Women’s double and Saurav Ghosal for mixed doubles, Pa??llikal brought silver medals in both the categories of Commonwealth Games 2018.

David Warner – Candice Warner

While David Warner can be seen dancing with his wife Candice and children in his social media posts, Mrs. Warner too has h??ad her fair share of popularity.

Before marrying the southpaw, Candice used to be a professional competitor in the Ironman series: a water-sport based surfing event in Australia. In fact, she debuted at just the age of 14 and won the New South Wales Championship two years later.

Apart from her glory in the water sport, Candice is also a retired life-saver. She has also appeared in shows like It Takes Two, Hell’s Kitchen, Australian Story, and SAS: Who Dares to Win?

Off the media attention for some time now, Candice, currently, seems to be enjoying her marri??ed life.

Shikhar Dhawan – Aesha Mukherjee

Shikhar Dhawan met his would-be wife Ayesha Mukherjee in 2009 via a social media platform that had the Indian veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh as their mutual.

It is said that the two chatted for long hours, which brewed their romance, but they waited to get married for three years until Dhawan ?established himself as a cricketer.

While the Delhi-born is famous for his batting masterclasses on the field, Aesha too happens?? to be a former spor?tsperson.

She is a trained kickboxer and very passionate about her gym schedule??s. Dhawan has also credited his wife for improving his fitn??ess regime.

Ishant Sharma – Pratima Singh

While Ishant Sharma is famous f?or his torrid ardour on the field, Pratima off the field bowled the Delhi lad.

The snippet behind their first meet is also very interesting as Pratima was the scorer at a 2011 Delhi IGMA Basketball League game where the speedster was invited as a judge.

Pratima started her basketball journey with Delhi University’s Jesus and Mary’s college. She then captained DU to two successive gold medal campaigns in the All-India Inter-University League in 2010-11.

She has also professionally represented the Indian national team in three Asian Basketball Championships (2006,07 and 09) and the 2010 Asian Games in Guangzhou.

Shoaib Malik – Sania Mirza

Shoaib Malik is the only cricketer on this list who has married a woman of different nationality??. While Shoaib was born and b??rought up in Pakistan, Sania hails from India. The duo started dating in 2009 and had to face some scathing criticism from fans in both countries.

Sania is a well-renowned Tennis star and has many International accolades to her name. The Tennis ace had occupied the numero-uno spot in Mixed doubles and has also been a recipient of six Grand Slams.

She was honoured with Padma Bhushan, the third??-highest civilian award in the Republic ??of India in 2016.

Robin Uthappa – Sheetal Goutham

Robin Uthappa, the form??er Indian crick??eter, revelled in ups and downs throughout his career.

When the right-handed batter was dropped from Team India after their 2007 World Cup T20 campaign, S??heetal motivated him to care for his ment??al health.

Apart from being a supportive partner, Sheetal has represented the national tennis team in some youth tournaments and is?? also a fitness addict.

The duo married each other during a Ch?ri??stian ceremony in 2016.

Mitchell Starc – Alyssa Healy

Mitchell Starc and Alyssa Healy are one of the best cricketers of their ilk.

While people are aware of Starc, Healy has been indomitable in the Australian national side. The cricketing roots of Healy go back to the early cricketing legends since Ian Healy is her uncle.

Alyssa holds the record of most dismissals by a wicket-keeper in T20Is. The Queensland-born also recorded the second-highest runs in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup in 2020 held at Australia.

Kedar Jadhav – Snehal Pramod

It may be surprising for few that middle-order batsman Kedar Jadhav is also betrothed to another cricketer, Snehal Pramod.

Snehal was a wicket-keeper batswoman during her playing days. She has represented Maharashtra and the West Zone in Women Cricket.

Snehal has also played domestic cricket for Odisha and Hyderabad. Overall, the Pune-born has played 1 first-class, 37 List A, and 31 Women’s Twenty20 matches.

The MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) faced a dramatic 10-run defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday. After an im?pressive performance from their bowlers, ?who bundled out KKR on 167, CSK batsmen once again failed to deliver as the last-year runner-ups fell short in the run chase.

Chasing 168 to win, CSK got off to a decent start with openers Shane Watson and Faf du Plessis adding 30 runs for the first wicket. In-form Du Plessis got out on 17 after facing 10 balls. However, Watson continued his fine form and went on to complete his second fifty of the IPL 2020. He added a 69-run partnership for the second wicket with Ambati Rayudu (30).

CSK then lost Watson and Rayudu in quick successi??on which yet again exposed their middle-order woes. Captain Dhoni came out to bat at no.4 but could only score 11 off 12 balls.

After Dhoni’s dismissal in the 17th over, it was expected that CSK would send Ravindra Jadeja or Dwayne Bravo to bat with 38 needed off 21 balls. However, they sent in Kedar Jadhav at No. 6 which baffl??ed many fans and experts. As expected, Jadhav, who is struggling to get runs this season, fail?ed to accelerate and remained unbeaten on 7 off 12 balls.

In the mean-time, CSK head coach Stephen Fleming has revealed why Kedar was sent to bat ahead of Jadeja and Bravo. The 35-year-old Jadhav was t??rolled heavily on social media fo?llowing his dismal performance against KKR.

“At the time, we thought that Kedar could play the spinner well and dominate, while Jadeja was there to come and finish. But in the end, there was too much work to do and we fell short,” said Fleming at the post-match press conference.

“We’ve got so much batting resources. Kedar is a late middle batter for India. We could have gone a whole lot of different ways. Today Kedar had some balls but that didn’t work out. You always put players in different areas and that’s just when you have so much batting talent to choose from. It’s one of the things we look at, but it’s all in hindsight,” he added.

Fleming further stated that if CSK batsmen would have executed their plans well towards the end, then the game should not have slipped out of their hands as they were in the driver’s seat for the most part of the chase.

“If we could have got one of those players to 75-plus and continued that partnership for another maybe four or five overs, the game might have been a lot different. Kolkata hung in there long enough to put pressure on us and we just couldn’t accelerate. We feel disappointed that we let it slip.”

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have moved up to the third spot in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 points table with a 10-run win over M??S Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday (October 7).

Batting first, KKR went on to put a decent total of 167 runs on the board, thanks to the exploits of opening batsman Rahul Tripathi, who was promoted up the order in peace of Sunil Narine. Tripathi proved his captain’s decision correct with a blistering knock of 81 runs.

Chasing 168, CSK we??re 91/2 mi?dway through their run chase, before a middle-order slump cost them the game.

Meanwhile, taking cognisance of CSK’s playing XI, fans of the Yellow Brigade expressed their disappointment. They questioned MS Dhoni’s decision to retain Kedar Jadhav, who is yet to make his presence felt in the cash-rich league. Even though Jadhav is regarded as a vital cog in the CSK setup, the 35-ye??ar-old batsman has failed to deliver the goods for the former champions.

The Twitter users lashed out at Jadhav for his indifferent knock at a stage when CSK needed someone ??to absorb the pressure and take the game away from KKR.

Kedar (7 not out off 12 balls) couldn’t even pick up the singles and added pressure on the other batsmen.

England’s marquee all-rounder Ben Stokes has been brought to the firing line after comments made on his autobiography, regarding Indian batsmen not displaying enough intent to chase down the total set by the hosts, in the group stage encounter of the 2019 ODI World Cup.

During the match, the Indian bowlers received a pounding from the likes of Jonny Bairstow, Jason Roy and Stokes himself, a??s the Three Lions set a stiff target of 33??8 runs.

However, India looked well on course to chase down the total ??with Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli at the crease.

Stokes tagged the approach displayed by Rohit and Virat ‘mystifying’ and ‘bizarre’. Following their dismissal, Rishabh Pant and Hardik Pandya chipped in with useful cameos to keep the asking rate in check.

Moreover, finishers MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav were left ?with much to do, with 112 required in the final 11 overs.

Stokes claimed ??that Indian talisman did not show any intent ??to attack, instead, he settled for taking singles with wickets in hand.

To which, one of the former Pakistan cricketer Sikander Bhakt blamed India for deliberately losing the?? match??, in order to eliminate Pakistan from the competition.

“India will never want Pakistan to reach the semi-finals. They have matches remaining against Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. Everybody saw how India won against Afghanistan. They (India) will play in such a way that nobody will know what has happened. What happened against Afghanistan?” said Bhakt earlier.

Had India won the match, the?? hosts would not have progressed through to the semi-finals and eventually win the title.

Although, with Engla??nd beating? India, the chances of Pakistan progressing to the knockouts was second to none.

Pakistan media copped on the comments made by Stokes in his autobiography due to be published, relating the two exclusive events. Now, Stokes has clarified his stand, tagging it as ‘twisting of words’ and ‘clickbait’.

Kedar Jadhav, renowned fa?nboy of Salman Khan, like millions of others, during a recent interaction, was forced to choose between MS Dhoni and Salman.

Jadhav has played under Dhoni at ??Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Indian Premier League (IPL) as well as in the Indian team.

One of the primary reasons for Jadhav’s success with the ball in the ODI format is due to constant backi?ng from Dhoni. Jadhav has bamboozled many world-class batsmen ?with his slingy loopy spinners.

Besides, the 35-year old ?has proved his mettle as an able finisher in both franchise and international cricket.

However, when asked to choose between Dhoni and Salman, the Pune cricketer went ahead with the former.
According?? to Jadhav, had it not been for MS, he would not have met his favourite Bollyw??ood actor. Further, he credited Dhoni for his sustenance at the highest level.

“For me, they both are like superstar. I cannot differentiate, but I would still like to clear this that because of MS Dhoni I have been able to play the duration I have played,” Jadhav reiterated in an Instagram Live session.

“And because of Mahi bhai, I got to meet Salman bhai. I think it will always be Mahi bhai first then Salman bhai but it is very difficult for me. It is like asking which parent is your favourite?” added Jadhav.

‘Captain Cool?is also renowned for his hilarious comment from behind the stumps. Also, there have been instances when MS has showered embers with eyes looking at errors from his fielders or batsmen at non-striker’s end.

One of the fans also asked whether he was scolded by Dhoni during his stint at CSK or the Indian team.
“Yes definitely, but his (Dhoni) scolding is mostly with the eyes. There is a very famous dialogue from a Salman Khan movie which says, “Ye Adele Aadmi hai jo aapko sire ghoul ke opposition ki pant gel Kar date hai (he is the only person who can make the opposition wet their pants with just one look)’. That sort of thing I get with him when he scolds me with his eyes, then I have to pull up my socks,” replied Jadhav.

Out of favour Indian middle-order batsman, Kedar Jadhav celebrated his 35th birthday on Thursday, March 26. The Maharashtra cricketer displayed a tremendous gesture of comp?assion by donating blood to a patient in need at his hometown in Pune.

A blood donation NGO named ‘Bharat Seva Parivar?posted the picture of Jadhav d?onating blood on Twitter.

Here’s the post:

Jadhav was scheduled to take part in the thirteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), donning the yellow jersey of Chenna??i Super Kings (CSK).

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the tournament was suspended till April 15. Therefore, Jadhav had to come back home after resuming the training sessions at Chepauk with Suresh Raina, MS Dhoni, Murali Vijay, Piyush Chawla, Karn Sharma, KM Asif, and many others?.

After India’s World Cup exit in the semi-finals last year, selectors m?ade sure that Jadha?v was part of their plans for ODIs as he was selected for the Australia and New Zealand ODI series.

Jadhav could not f??ind a place in? the Indian lineup throughout the 3-match series against the Aussies and was made to warm the bench.

A?fter a moderate series against New ?Zealand, Jadhav could not make his way to the Indian squad for the series against South Africa. Selectors have already shown signs of moving on from the Maharashtra stalwart.

betvisa888 casinoKedar Jadhav – Cricket Times - betvisa888 //betvisa68.com/2019/06/icc-world-cup-2019-sachin-tendulkar-unhappy-with-ms-dhoni-kedar-jadhavs-slow-partnership-against-afghanistan/ Sun, 23 Jun 2019 05:44:44 +0000 //betvisa68.com/?p=30354

Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar admitted that he was not happy with the way India’s middle batsmen played against Afghanistan at the Rose Bowl in Southampton and felt that the batsmen lacked intent in the middle overs.

Tendulkar, in?? particular, pointed out the partnership between MS Dhoni and Kedar Jadhav, saying that the duo was just too slow in their approach while batting against the Afghan spinners.

“I felt slightly disappointed, it could have been much better. I was also not happy with the partnership between Kedar and Dhoni, it was very slow. We batted 34 overs of spin bowling and scored 119 runs. This was one area where we didn’t look comfortable at all. There was no positive intent.

“There were more than 2-3 dot balls. After virat got out in the 38th over and till the 45th over we hadn’t scored many runs. There were not enough outings for the middle order batsmen till now and that put pressure on them. But the intent could have been much better by the middle order batsmen,” Tendulkar was quoted as saying to India Today.

Dhoni and Jadhav added a 57-run partnership for the fifth wicket but also played out 84 balls for the same. Dhoni scored 24 off 36 in that partnership while Jadhav made 31 off 48 balls which slowed down India’s proceedings in the middle overs.

India, therefore, managed to p??ost just 224 for 8 in their allotted 50 overs with Virat K??ohli top-scoring with 67 runs.

“Kedar Jadhav was under pressure, he had not had an outing up until now. He needed someone to take charge of the situation early on but that did not happen. Both Kedar and Dhoni were not able to play at the required strike rate that they would have wanted. Those in-between overs could have been better and that is why Kedar was under a bit of pressure,” Tendulkar added.

The ??match turned on its head in the second innings as Afghanistan gave India a tough fight with Mohammad Nabi scoring 52 off 55 balls but the Indian bowling attack led by Jasprit Bumrah fought back really well to bowl out the Afghans for 213.

Mohammed Shami ende??d up with a hat-trick in the final over to seal the win for India.

Als??o, Dhoni who has been criticized for playing slow innings in the pas?t was once again at the centre of trolls.
