St Lucia Stars defeated ??Guyana Amazon Warriors in a thrilling encounter with skipper Kieron Pollard leading from the front. The all-rounder stole the show with hi??s superb batting display when he smashed Devendra Bishoo for 30 runs in an over.

Stars, who haven’t had the best of the seasons, winning just two games in the CPL 2018 so far, rode superbly on the quick-fire innings from Pollard to win the game by six wickets.

In the 18th over of the match, Pollard went berserk in his attack. He hit three sixes and three fours off Bishoo and destroyed Warriors’ chances of winning the game.

Stars neede?d 31 runs in the last three overs when Bishoo was handed the ball by Warriors skipper Shoaib Malik. However, Pollard single-handedly staged a stellar show with the willow and brought the equation down to just 1 run to get in the last two ov??ers. Pollard started the attack with a whopping hit on a full-toss bowled outside off. He continued the assault and kept going after every bowl that the spinner bowled.

Pollard’s unbeaten 18-ball 41 took the game away from the Warriors as he took home the player of the match award.

During the third ODI against West Indies, Indian wicket-keeper batsman MS Dhoni? showed his class once again when he prevented himself from getting stumped using a smart ??trick.

Dhoni went down the track to Devendra Bishoo when while batting on 30 off 53.
Bishoo saw the right-hander come down the wicket and so bowled a wide delivery way outside the off stump. But, Dhoni was well aware of the situation and he moved back very quickly and reached his crease without even ?trying to hit the ball.

This was something any player has hardly tried while b?atting. His p??resence of mind left everyone in an awe.
