Attempting to clear the boundary against a slightly quicker delivery, the SRH all-rounder mistimed his shot, with Dasun Shanaka safely completing the catch near the ropes.

Rajasthan Royals overpower SRH to enter Qualifier 2

Earlier in the match, Rajasthan Royals produced a dominant batting display after being put in to bat first. Youngster Vaibhav Suryavanshi starred with a sensational innings as RR piled up 243 runs on the board in the must-win encounter. Despite the early collapse, Nitish and Salil attempted to bring SRH back into the contest with an aggressive middle-order partnership. However, Jofra Archer and Sushant Mishra continued to pick up wickets at regular intervals and eventually SRH were bowled out for 196 in 19.2 overs.

Jadeja once again played an important role with the ball and continued his impressive IPL 2026 campaign, where he has frequently made headlines for both his performances and celebrations. Earlier this season, the former Chennai Super Kings star also attracted attention for his “in my pocket” gesture and aggressive send-offs during key matches. With the comfortable victory, now Riyan Parag’s side has advanced to Qualifier 2, where they will face Gujarat Titans for a place in the IPL 2026 final.
