U19 World Cup 2026: Format of the tournament
Sixteen teams will compete over a three-week period for the coveted Under-19 world title. The competition follows a familiar and competitive structure, with teams divided into four groups of four. The top three sides from each group will progress to the Super Six stage, where performances carry forward to determine the semi-finalists. From there, the top two teams advance to the semi-finals, culminating in the final showdown to crown the world champions.
