Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025, previously known as the Emerging Asia Cup, is set to showcase the best young cricketing talent from Asia. The tournament celebrates the upcoming stars across eight Asian nations and serves as a platform for future cricketing greats to compete in the T20 format. This year’s competition takes place at the West End International Cricket Stadium in Doha, Qatar, from November 14 to November 23, 2025.

Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025: Format

The tournament features eight teams divided into two groups of four. Each team will play the other three teams in their group once, totalling 15 matches. The top two teams from each group advance to the semifinals, where Group A’s winner faces Group B’s runner-up and vice versa, culminating in a final on November 23.

In Group A, the teams are Bangladesh A, Sri Lanka A, Afghanistan A (the defending champions), and Hong Kong. Group B comprises India A, Pakistan A, UAE, and Oman. One of the most anticipated matches is the clash between India A and Pakistan A on November 16, following the senior teams’ intense encounters in the recent senior Asia Cup.

India A, led by Jitesh Sharma and featuring exciting young talents like 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Priyansh Arya, Nehal Wadhera, and Abhishek Porel, will be looking to continue their dominance against arch-rivals Pakistan A, captained by Irfan Khan.
