Jamie Smith and Brydon Carse steady ship with fighting fifty-run stand after early setback

Bumrah unleashed a devastating spell in the first session of Day 2, ripping through the English batting order. He started by dismantling Stokes with a sharp delivery, then quickly followed up by removing centurion Joe Root and sending Chris Woakes back for a golden duck. Bumrah’s relentless pace and movement left England reeling and shifted the momentum firmly in India’s favor.
