Moeen Ali shares his prediction on the ongoing Edgbaston Test

In a candid conversation on the YouTube channel Beard Before Wicket Moeen shared his thoughts on the ongoing Test between England and India, predicting a closely contested match. He believes it won’t be easy for India and expects England to have the upper hand in this particular game. While he does see India potentially winning a Test later in the series, he feels this one might go England’s way. Moeen also highlighted the importance of India batting first, noting that pitch conditions and the need for spinners on the final day could play a crucial role in deciding the outcome.

“I think it will be a lot closer. I think it will be difficult for India. (second Test) I think India will win one. I don’t know if it’s this one. I don’t think they’ll win this one but maybe one down the line. England will be too strong. It will be interesting because India are batting first. Normally you want two spinners on the last day, so it will be interesting,” Moeen said in the podcast.
