ECB announced that the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground will act as the host of the summit clash of the global showpiece event. Notably, this isn’t the first instance of Lord’s being chosen for an ICC final. The last time the nation organized a Women’s World Cup — the 50-over edition in 2017 — the championship match was played at Lord’s, just like the Men’s ODI World Cup final in 2019. Interestingly, England emerged victorious in both tournaments.
