Among the celebrities present at the Wankhede Stadium was Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan, known for her roles in films such as ‘Jannat’ and ‘Paltan.’ As she exited the stadium following the MI vs SRH match, Chauhan revealed that her favourite cricketer is none other than Rohit Sharma, the former captain of Mumbai Indians and the current skipper Indian ODI and Test teams. She also expressed her support for MI during the tournament, reflecting the enthusiasm many Bollywood personalities have for cricket and their favourite players.

When Sonal Chauhan was rumoured to be dating KL Rahul

Rumours about Bollywood actress Sonal Chauhan dating current Delhi Capitals batter KL Rahul surfaced in 2018, fuelled by social media interactions and public admiration. The speculation gained traction after Sonal tweeted her support for Rahul, which led to widespread assumptions about a possible romantic relationship between the two.

However, Sonal publicly denied these rumours on multiple occasions. In interviews, she clarified that there was no romantic involvement with KL Rahul, describing him as a talented and nice individual but emphasizing that they were not dating. Sonal stated, “No, not at all. He is a very good cricketer, talented and nice guy,” directly addressing and dismissing the speculation.

Well, Rahul is now happily married to actress Athiya Shetty and the couple got blessed with a baby girl last month.
