A glimpse of his unmatched power and hitting ability came during the Qualifier 1 against Paarl Royals when he hit the ball out of the park against ace spinner Mujeeb-Ur-Rahman and shifted momentum to play a crucial innings for his side in an all-important cla𓂃sh at the St. George’s Park.

The incident unfolded on the 4th ball of the 18th over, a moment that left fans on the edge of their seats. Royals spinner Mujeeb, knဣown for his deceptive spin, failed to stem the barrage of sixes that had been raining down from Brevis. As Mujeeb delivered a full-length delivery, he seemed to underestimate the sheer power and precision of the batter. With a powerful swing of the bat, Brevis launched the ball high into the sky, sending it sailing over the boundary line with emphatic force.

Royals invited MI Cape Town to bat first hoping that a set target would increase their chances of reaching the finals of the league. However, on the contrary, Cape Town got off to a solid start due to a remarkable partnership between openers Ryan Rickelton and Rassie van der Dussen. The two batters added 87 runs betweeꦫn them and provided the team a platform to reach a gigantic total in the all-important clash.
After the openers were dismissed by Dunith Wellalage and Dayyaan Galiem respectively, it was time for the middle order batters to carry on the momentum and hit some powerful strokes. Brevis did exactly that during his unbeatable knock of 44 runs off 30 balls in which he sent the ball out of the park 4 times. The Royals bowli♍ng unit had no answer to the incoming onslaught from Brevis. A team effort from the Cape Town enabled them to reach a competitive total of 199/4 in 20 overs.

A disciplined and determined bowling effort from Cape Town bowlers bowled out Royals on just 160 runs thus ensuring a win for the team in blue and golden shades by 39 runs.

With this majestic win over Roya🥃ls, Capeꦿ Town have secured a place in the final of the competition while Royals have to take their chances in a do-or-die clash in Qualifier 2.
