UP Warriorz have brought in West Indies all-rounder Chinelle Henry as a replacement for Alyssa Healy in the upcoming .

Alyssa Healy out of WPL 2025 due to injury

Healy, who was set to lead the team, has been forced to with🐽draw due to a stress reaction in her right foot, an injury that follows prev👍ious plantar fascia ruptures.

With Healy sidelined, the franchise is yet to finalize its new captain. Leading candidates for the role include Sri Lankan veteran , Australian all-rounder Tahlia McGrath, and Indian star Deepti Sharma. Meanwhile, Uma Chetry is expected to step in as the te﷽am’s wicketkeeper.
