Adam Milne cleans up Andries Gous for a golden duck
Milne made an immediate impact, striking in the very first over of the Abu Dhabi Knight Riders’ innings. Facing just his first delivery, Gous attempted to defend a well-pitched length ball. However, the delivery had just enough seam movement to beat the outside edge of his bat. Gous misjudged the line and played a tentative prod forward, but the ball sneaked pas𒅌t him and clipped the top of the off-stump. The sharp delivery left him stunned as the bails went flying, dismissing him for a golden duck and giving the Warriorz an early breakthrough.

Milne strikes again: Joe Clarke and Sunil Narine fall
Milne continued his dominance in the third over, dismissing Joe Clarke with a sharp back-of-a-length delivery outside off. Wicketkeeper Tim Seifert made no mistake in pouching the catch, sending Clarke back for 15 off 8 balls. Returning in the fifteenth over, Milne took his third wicket of the evening, sending skipper Sunil Narine back to the pavilion. Narine, looking to accelerate, backed away to play a big shot off a length ball but mistimed it completely. The ball went high into the air, and Jason Roy at mid-off settled co▨mfortably under it to complete an easy catch. Milne’s third strike ensured Abu Dhabi Knight Riders struggled to gain momentum in the later stages of their innings.
Sharjah Warriorz comfortably chase down the target
Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, Abu Dhabi Knight Riders managed to put up a fighting total of 161 for 8 in their 20 overs. The standout performer for them was Kyle Mayers, who played a crucial knock of 56 off 35 balls, smashing six fours and two sixes. His aggressive approach helped keep the scoreboard ticking, but the lack of support from other batters prevented the team from reaching a bigger total. Apart from Milne’s three-wicket haul, leg-spinner Adam Zampa also delivered a brilliant spell, picking up three crucial wickets and further tightening the grip🌺 on the Knight Riders’ innings.
In response, Sharjah Warriorz successfully chased down the target, scoring 162 for 6 in 19 overs to seal a four-wicket win.
