The ICC U19 Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 is all set to commence on January 18 in Malaysia, marking the second edition of the prestigious tournament. The 🌼inaugural edition, held in 💃2023, was a resounding success, unearthing a wealth of young talent who have since made a mark on the global cricket stage.

Notable players from the 2023 tournament have transitioned seamlessly to senior international cricket. India’s Titas Sadhu, named Player of the Final in the inaugural edition, has become a key figure in the country’s pace attack. England all-rounder Ryana MacDonald-Gay, who participated in the first edition, recently made her Test debut against South Africa and is currently featuring in the ongoing Women’s Ashes. These success stories underscore the tournament’s role in nurturing the next generation of cricketing stars.

This year’s editi🦄on features 16 teams, divided into four groups of four, with hosts Malaysia joining the fray for the first time. They ar🐽e joined by other debutants Nepal, Nigeria and Samoa, adding new diversity and enthusiasm to the competition.
