During the BBL clash between Perth Scorchers and Adelaide Strikers in the 2014 edition of the tournament, Scorchers’ star opener Craig Simmons rattled the Strikers’ bowling effort to amass the fastest to🔯n in BBL history off just 39 balls with 8 fours and 8 sixes. The storming knock from Simmons enabled Scorchers to reach a total of 203 runs at a loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. The gigantic total enabled Scorchers to secure a thrilling 5-run win over Strikers in the match.
