For the crucial fourth T20I between India and England, significant changes have been made to both teams’ playing XI. The match is being held at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune, with India currently leading the five-match series 2-1.
Changes in Playing XI
England opts for two changes in their starting XI:
Saqib Mahmood repl𝓡aces Mark Wood and Jacob Bethell comes in for Jamie🍃 Smith.
Captain Jos Buttler, after winning the toss and opti🃏ng to bowl first♊, noted that while they were pleased with their previous win, there are still areas for improvement.
We are gonna bowl first this evening. It feels like a great atmosphere already, the series is nicely set-up,” Buttler said after winning the toss.
“Very happy with that performance, we have areas to improve but happy to get the win,” he added.
India makes three changes in their lineup:
Rinku Singh, Sh𓃲ivam Dube and ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚArshdeep Singh have been included in the playing XI.
The players maki⛎ng way are Dhruv Jurel, Mohammed Shami and Washington Sundar.
These adjustments come after India’s disappointing performance in the previous match, where they fell short against England, scoring only 145 runs in response to England’s total of 171.

Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav expressed confidence in his team’s ability to bounce back, emphasizing the need to stick to their basics and play an entertaining brand of cricket.
“It is all about coming here and playing good brand of cricket. Stick to the basics. We have left that game in Rajkot. Hopefully we put up an entertaining show for this crowd,” Suryakumar said after losing the toss.
