Najmul Hossain Shanto returns as captain
Under the leadership of Najmul Hossain Shanto, who will captain the side, Bangladesh has named a 15-member squad that blends experience with youthful exuberance. Najmul will captain the team in the tournament, returning to the role after Mehidy Hasan Miraz filled in for him during the previous bilateral series. He has recovered from a groin injury sಞustained in Novemb🍨er.
No place for Litton Das in Bangladesh’s squad
Litton Das has been excluded from the 15-member squad. The decision follows concerns over the wicketkeeper-batter’s poor form, as admitted by Bangladesh chief selector Gazi Ashraf Hossain in December. Litton had scored just six runs across three ODIs in the Caribbean. With his omission, Jaker Ali is expect𒉰ed to take over th🍬e wicketkeeping duties.
