In an exhilarating display of bowling prowess, of the Indian cricket team delivered a match-defining moment by dismissing West Indies captain Hayley Matthews with what can only be described as a ‘peach of a delivery’ in the 3rd Women’s One Day International (ODI) of the series.

The match, taking place at Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara, saw West Indies winning the toss and opting to bat first. The atmosphere was electric, with fans filling the stands, eagerly anticipating a competitive game following India’s dominant performances in the previous ODIs.

The action took place in the opening over of Windies innings which saw Renuka getting rid of opener  on tꦰhe very first ball. Renuka capitalized on the strong start and finished the over by sending Matthews 🐓back in the hut.

Renuka bowled a good length delivery which tailed in late, deceiving Matthews. The ball pitched just outside off and swung back sharply, going through the gap between bat and pad to clatter into the stumps. Matthews, who has been a key player for West Indies, was dismissed for a duck, leaving her team reeling at 1/2 after the first o🔯ver.
