Australian resistance falls short
Australia’s second innings started with intent but crumbled under the relentless pressure of India’s bowlers. Travis Head put up a valiant fight with a counter-attacking 89, but the lack of partnerships hindered the hosts’ chase.
Bumrah and Mohammed Siraj claimed three wickets apiece, while Rana also chipped in with crucial breakthroughꦿs. Australia were bowled out for 238, handing India a thumping victory.
