During the first ODI of a five-match series between England and Australia, the English opener Phil Salt was left stunned after losing his wicket to the Aussie debutant Ben Dwarshuis. The inciden♎t took place on Thursday (September 19) at Trent Bridge, Nottingham, where both teams were eager to establish dominance in the series.

The moment of shock for Phil Salt

Salt, known for his aggressive batti🥀ng style, was looking to build a solid foundation for England after they won the toss and opted to bat first. However, in a moment that left fans and players alike in disbelief, Salt misjudged a delivery from Dwarshuis, leading to his dismissal. The left-arm seamer, making his international debut at the age of 30, delivered a well-placed delivery in the 8th over of the first innings that caught Salt off guard,꧅ resulting in a clean bowled dismissal.
