India tour of Sri Lanka details
The Indian cricket team is set to embark on a tour of Sri Lanka in July and August 2024, ma🐲rking their first white-ball bilateral series in the island nation since 2021. The tour will consist of three One Day International (ODI) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.
The revised schedule, announced by Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), will see the first T20I match played on July 27 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, followed by🥂 the remaining two T20I matches on July 28 and July 30 at the same venue.
The ODI series will then commence on August 2﷽ at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, with the remaining two ODI matches scheduled for August 4 and August 7 at the same venue.
This tour will be India’s first under the leadership of their new head coach, Gautam Gambhir, while Sri Lanka will have a new man at the helm in Sanath Jayasuriya, who has been named as the interim head coach.
