India are currently at the top of the points table in WTC with 74 points, showcasing their formidable performance in the championship so far. Having played nine matches, India have emerged victorious in six games and suffered defeats in two with one draw. India’s consistent performance placed them in a strong position as they aim to secure a spot in the WTC final in June 2025, having been finalists in both the 1st and 2nd editions but narrowly missing out on the title.
Looking ahead, India are gearing up for an intense schedule of upcoming matches. They are scheduled to play 10 Tests in total, including two matches against Bangladesh starting from September 2024, followed by a series of three matches against New Zealand commencing in October 2024.
