Australian cricketer David Warner has officially announced his retirement from international cricket. Warner played his final international match against India during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, concluding a stellar caree𓃲r that has left an indeli꧒ble mark on the sport.

David Warner hints at potential comeback

During the T20 World Cup, Warner showcased his skills by scoring 178 runs across seven matches, maintaining an average of 29.66 and an impressive strike rate of 139.06. Although he has stepped away from international cricket, Warner remains open to participating in the Australian squad for the Champions Trophy 2025, scheduled to be held in Pakistan in February.

I will continue to play franchise cricket for a while, and I’m also open to playing for Australia in the Champions Trophy if selected,” Warner wrote on his Instagram page.
