Rohit Sharma opines after India’s dramatic win over Pakistan
After India emerged victorious against Pakistan, the Indian captain Rohit Sharma stated that they lacked effort in the batt🐓ing, while bowlers did🌳 a commendable job for them.
“I think we didn’t bat well enough. Halfway through the stage, when we were batting we were 80 for 3 down. You expect guys to stitch the partnership. We were 15-20 runs short. Every run matters on a ground like this. Bowlers came and did the job for us,” Rohit said in the post-match presentation.
“You need everyone to show up. Little contribution from everyone makes a huge difference. Whoever had ball in hand wanted to contribute for the team,” he added.
