Chasing a modest target of 111, India faced an early setback, losing their star openers Rohit Sharma (3 runs off 6 balls) and Virat Kohli (0 runs off 1 ball) cheaply. However, Rishabh Pant and Suryakumar Yadav steadied the ship with a crucial partnership.
Suryakumar played a composed innings, scoring 50 runs off 49 balls, including 2 fours and 2 sixes. He was well supported by Shivam Dube, who scored an unbeaten 31 runs off 35 deliveries, featuring 1 four and 1 six. Pant contributed 18 runs off 20 balls before falling to Ali Khan.
