Chasing a challenging target of 160 runs, the USA batsmen displayed remarkable composure. Monank Patel (50 runs) and Aaron Jones (36 not out) anchored the chase with valuable contributions. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, the USA batters kept chipping away at the target, with contributions from Andries Gous (35 runs) and Nitish Kumar (14 not 🌳out) 🔯proving crucial.
A nail-biting finish and Super Over
The match went down ✃to the wire as the USA required 14 runs from the final over. They managed to tie the scores on the last ball, sending the crowd into a frenzy. A Super Over was required to determine the winner.
In the Super Over, the UꦓSA posted 18 runs on the scoreboard. However, in reply, Pakistan could manage only 13/1 off their six balls.
