Fazalhaq Farooqi spearheaded the Afghan bowling attack, claiming three wickets for just 16 runs in his four overs. Naveen ul Haq (2/4) and Noor Ahmad (1/14) chipped in with crucial wic🅘kets as well. The disciplined bowling performan🤪ce ensured that none of the PNG batters were able to build a significant score. Only Kiplin Doriga (27 runs) showed some resistance for the team.
Afghanistan Reaches the Target with Minimal Fuss
Afghanistan chased down the target with ease, reaching the finish line in 15.1 overs with seven wicke🦩ts in hand. Gulbadin Naib (49 not out off 36ꦰ) was the star of the show, anchoring the chase with a well-paced knock that included 4 fours and 2 sixes. Mohammad Nabi (16*) and Azmatullah Omarzai (13 runs) provided valuable support in the middle order.

Fazalhaq Farooqi’s three-wicket haul in the bowling attack earned him the Player of the Match award.
