Harmeet Singh contributed a late 21 off 17 balls, but the rest of the team couldn’t hold their ground. Chris Jordan‘s hat-trick in the 19th over was the highlight, as he claimed four wickets for just 10 runs. Adil Rashid als♍o deliv𒉰ered an exceptional performance, taking two wickets for 13 runs in his four overs. The USA was eventually bowled out for 115 in 18.5 overs.

England complete a commanding chase

Chasing a modest target of 116, England’s openers, Philip Salt and Jos Buttler, took charge from the outset. Buttler played a captain’s knock, scoring a blistering 83 off 38 balls, including six fours and seven sixes. Salt supported with a steady 25 off 21 balls. The pair’s aggressive batting saw England reach the target in just 9.4 overs without losing a wicket.
