David Miller’s brilliance to run out Rachin Ravindra
In the first over of the CSK run chase at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium, Umesh Yadav delivered a ball on off-stump to Ajinkya Rahane. Ravindra, at the non-striker’s end, responded to Rahane’s call for a run, attempting to steal a quick single. However, Miller, positioned at backward point, swiftly collected the ball and threw it underarm with pinpoint accuracy, hitting the stumps directly at the bowler’s end. Ravindra was caught short of his crease, resulting in him walking back to the pavilion for just 1 run. The dismissal showcased Miller’s exceptional fielding prowess and cricketing intelligence.
